Target Elevates Timberwolves Playoff Experience with Bullseye’s Leveled Up Laces

To celebrate the Timberwolves’ playoff run, Target wanted to show up in a way that resonated with fans and elevated the in-stadium experience. The goal was clear: make fans feel connected to the team and give them a meaningful way to show their playoff spirit at two key home games.

We tapped into basketball and sneaker culture—two things that go hand-in-hand—by creating Bullseye’s Leveled Up Laces. Fans could visit the exclusive red-out locker room, upgrade their sneakers with a pair of Timberwolves-branded laces, and leave with a fresh way to show off their team spirit. It was a high-energy moment that gave fans a tangible connection to the team’s playoff run.

With nearly 7,000 minutes of fan interaction and 1,800 pairs of laces handed out, Target turned game days into something fans could wear long after the final buzzer.
